Siddhi Vinayak Stotra is recited to appease the Lord Ganesha in his Siddhi Vinayak form. Lord Siddhi Vinayak was worshipped by Brahma, Vishnu, Shiva, Devi, Kumara, Vishvamitra the sage, etc. This shows that Ganesha is the Supreme Being.

Sad padma raga mani varna Sareera kanthi
Sri Sidhi, Budhi praicharchitha Kumkumasri
Dakshasthenavalayithathi manojna sundo

You Have the color and luster of the good gem Padma Raga,
Surrounded by Sidhi and Budhi, you shine in the luster of their kumkum

पाशाङ्कुशाब्जपरशूंश्र्च दधच्चतुर्भिर्दोर्भिश्र्च
शोणकुसुमस्त्रगुमाङ्गजातः ।

विघ्नं ममापहर सिद्धिविनायक त्वम् ॥ ३ ॥
Pasankusabhja parasumscha dadaschathurbhidhorbhischa
Sona kusumasthragumanga jathaa
Sindhoora Sobhitha lalata vidhu prakaso

You keep in your four hands rope, goad, axe, and lotis flower
Your limbs are decorated by red colored garland,
And with the kumkum of Uma on your forehead, you shine like the moon

कार्येषु विघ्नचयभीतविरञ्चिमुख्यैः
सम्पूजितः सुरवरैरपि मोदकाद्यैः ।
सर्वेषु च प्रथममेव सुरेषु पूज्यो

Karyeshu vighna chaya bheetha virincha mukhyai
SAmpoojitha Suravarapi Modhakadhyai
SArveshu cha pradhamameva sureshu poojyo,

Fearing the crowd of obstacles would stop their activity

शीघ्राञ्चनस्खलनतुङ्गरवोर्ध्वकण्ठ
स्थूलेन्दुरुद्रगणहासितदेवसङ्घः ।
शूर्पश्रुतिश्र्च पृथुवर्तुलङ्गतुन्दो

Seegranchanaskalana thunga ravordhva kanta
Sthoolendhu rudra gaba haasitha deva sanga
Soorpa sruthischaprathuvarthulanga thuntho,

Due to your speedy movement, very high-sounding voice
Very fat body, you make the moon and other Rudra Ganas laugh

यज्ञोपवीतपदलम्भितनागराजो
मासादिपुण्यददृशीकृतऋक्षराजः ।
भक्ताभयप्रद दयालय विघ्नराज

Yajnopaveetha pada lambitha Nagarajo
Masaadhi punya dadarsi krutha ruksha raja
Bhakthabhaya pradha dayalaya Vighna Raja

You have given the king of snakes, the place of your sacred thread
You wear the crescent moon on your head and grant blessing to devotees

सद्रत्नसारततिराजितसत्किरीटः
कौस्तुम्भचारुवसनद्वय ऊर्जितश्रीः ।
सर्वत्र मङ्गलकरस्मरणप्रतापो

Sadrathna sarathathi rajitha sath kireeta
Kausthmbha chaaru vasana dhavaya oorjitha sri
SArvathra mangala kara smarana prathapo

Your great crown shines in the essence of great gems
And you wear two pretty clothes in a saffron color
And everywhere you are famous for all-round auspiciousness

देवान्तकाद्यसुरभीतसुरार्तिहर्ता
विज्ञानबोधनवरेण तमोऽपहर्ता ।
आनन्दितत्रिभुवनेश कुमारबन्धो
विघ्नं ममापहर सिद्धिविनायक त्वम् ॥ ८ ॥
Devathakaadhya sura bheetha asurathi harthaa
Vijnana bodhana varena thamopaharthaa
Aanandhitha tribhuvanesa kumara bandho
Vighnam Mamapahara Sidhi Vinayaka thwam
He kills the asuras who are enemies of devas whom they are scared
He removes the darkness of ignorance by teaching of knowledge
And he is related to Kumara who makes the king of the three worlds happy,
