'ॐ ह्रीं नमः कृष्ण वाससे शतसहस्रहिंसिनि सहस्रवदने महावले अपराजिते प्रत्यङ्गिरे। परसैन्य परकर्मविध्वंसिनि परमन्त्रोत्सादिनि सर्वभूतदमनि सर्वभूतदमनि सर्वदेवान् बन्ध बन्ध सर्वविद्याश्छिन्धि छिन्धि क्षोभय क्षोभय परयन्त्राणि स्फोटय स्फोटय सर्वशृङ्खलास्त्रोटय त्रोटय ज्वलज्ज्वालाजिह्वे करालवदने प्रत्यङ्गिरे हीं नमः ||

इस मन्त्र के ऋषि छन्द तथा देवता पूर्व में कह आये हैं । इस मन्त्र के माया बीज से षडङ्गन्यास करना चाहिए । तदनन्तर समस्त शत्रुओं को नाश करने वाली प्रत्यङ्गिरा का ध्यान करना चाहिए ॥

अस्य श्री प्रत्यङ्गिरामन्त्रस्य ब्रह्माऋषिरनुष्टुप्छन्दः प्रत्यङ्गिरादेवता ॐ बीजं ह्रीं शक्तिः ममाभीष्टसिद्ध्यर्थे ( परकृत्यनिवारणे वा ) जपे विनियोगः ।
षडङ्गन्यास -
ॐ ह्रां हृदयाय नमः,
ॐ ह्रीं शिरसे स्वाहा,
ॐ हूं शिखायै वषट्,
ॐ ह्रौं नेत्रत्रयाय वौषट्,
ॐ हैं कवचाय हुम,
ॐ हः अस्त्राय फट् ॥
प्रत्यङ्गिरा का ध्यान
सिंहारूढातिकृष्णं त्रिभुवनभयकृद्रूपमुग्रं वहन्ती,
ज्वालावक्त्रावसानानववसनयुगं नीलमण्याभकान्तिः।
शूलं खड्गं वहन्ती निजकरयुगले भक्तरक्षैकदक्षा,
सेयं प्रत्यङ्गिरा संक्षपयतु रिपुभिर्निर्मितं वोभिचारम् ॥
सिंहारूढ़, अत्यन्त कृष्णवर्णा, त्रिभुवन को भयभीत करने वाले रूपकों को धारण करने वाली, मुख से आग की ज्वाला उगलती हुई, नवीन दो वस्त्रों को धारण किये हुये, नीलमणि की आभा के समान कान्ति वाली, अपने दोनों हाथों में शूल तथा खड्ग धारण करने वाली, स्वभक्तों की रक्षा में अत्यन्त सावधान रहने वाली, ऐसी प्रत्यङ्गिरा देवी हमारे शत्रुओं के द्वारा किये गये अभिचारों को विनष्ट करे ॥
Sitting on the lion, extremely dark complexioned, wearing that frightening Tribhuvan, spewing flames of fire from her mouth, wearing two new clothes, shining like a sapphire, holding prong and sword in both her hands, May such Pratyangira Devi, who is very careful in the protection of self-devotees, destroy the evil deeds and black magic done by our enemies.
इस मन्त्र का दश हजार जप करना चाहिए तथा तिल एवं राई का होम एक हजार की संख्या में निष्पन्न कर मन्त्र सिद्ध करना चाहिए । फिर काम्य प्रयोगों में मात्र १०० की संख्या में जप करना चाहिए ||
Ten thousand chants of this mantra should be performed and the mantra should be proven by burning sesame seeds and mustard seeds in one thousand numbers. Then only 100 should be chanted in Kamya Prayog.
ग्रह बाधा, भूत बाधा आदि किसी प्रकार की बाधा होने पर इस मन्त्र का जप करते हुए जल से रोगी को अभिसिञ्चित करना चाहिए । इसी प्रकार शत्रुद्वारा यन्त्र मन्त्रादि द्वारा अभिचार भी विनिष्ट करना चाहिए ॥
In case of any kind of obstacle like planetary obstacles, evil spirits, etc., the patient should be anointed with water while chanting this mantra. In the same way, by means of instruments, mantras, etc., one should destroy evil.
