Bhagwati Stotram is the melody or invocation devoted to Goddess Durga, she is also known as Bhagwati and mother goddess. This Strotam was penned by sage Vyas, which emphasizes the virtue of goddess Durga, and her victory over evil forces. Those who recite this Stotra accumulate the endorsements of the Goddess.
Bhagwati is another form of Parvati or Goddess Durga. Goddess Durga is the mother of the universe and is believed to be the power behind the work of creation, preservation, and destruction of the world.
Since time immemorial she has been worshipped as the supreme power of the Supreme Being. Goddess Durga protects her devotees from the evils of the world and at the same time removes their miseries.

हे देवि ! तुम्हारी जय हो। तुम समस्त शरीरोंको धारण करनेवाली, स्वर्गलोकका दर्शन करानेवाली और दुःखहारिणी हो। हे व्याधिनाशिनी देवि ! तुम्हारी जय हो। मोक्ष तुम्हारे करतलगत है, हे मनोवाञ्छित फल देनेवाली अष्ट सिद्धियोंसे सम्पन्न परा देवि ! तुम्हारी जय हो ॥ ५ ॥

गृहे वा शुद्धभावेन प्रीता भगवती सदा ॥ ६॥

जो कहीं भी रहकर पवित्र भावसे नियमपूर्वक इस व्यासकृत स्तोत्रका पाठ करता है अथवा शुद्ध भावसे घरपर ही पाठ करता है, उसके ऊपर भगवती सदा ही प्रसन्न रहती हैं ॥ ६ ॥
