Diwali is the festival of lights and colors. The festival brings happiness and joy everywhere. One of the specialized ceremonies in Deepawali is invoking the deities and Goddess Mahalakshmi with the help of Yagya and Pujan.
One of the most popular festivals of Hinduism, Diwali symbolizes the spiritual "victory of light over darkness, good over evil, and knowledge over ignorance".
The festival is widely associated with Lakshmi, the goddess of prosperity. Many other regional traditions connect the holiday to Sita and Rama, Vishnu, Krishna, Yama, Yami, Durga, Kali, Hanuman, Ganesha, Kubera, Dhanvantari, or Vishvakarman.
Furthermore, in some regions, it is a celebration of the day Lord Rama returned to his kingdom Ayodhya with his wife Sita and his brother Lakshmana after defeating Ravana in Lanka and serving 14 years of exile.
The Lakshmi Suktam Yagya and puja provide abundance and prosperity in life. The Mahalakshmi ritual involves "Aavahan of Goddess Mahalakshmi" and blessing the ritual's sponsor.
The Lakshmi Suktam Yagya grants power, energy, and success in all endeavors of life. Samputith mantras are recited in the Yagya to attract abundance and prosperity.
The Lakshmi Suktam Yagya and puja will be performed by Guruji on the occasion of Deepawali.
