Sudarshan Chakra Yantra is an armor of protection for the sadhak. Sudarshan Chakra is a spinning, disc weapon, having 108 serrated edges used by the Hindu god Vishnu or Krishna.
The Sudarshana Chakra is generally portrayed on the right rear hand of the four hands of Vishnu, who also holds a shankha, a Gada, and the Padma.
In the Mahabharata, Krishna, identified with Vishnu, uses it as a weapon. For example, he beheads Shishupala with the Sudarshana Chakra at the Rajasuya yagna of Emperor Yudhishthira.
