Lord Ganpati is the Lord of obstacles, prosperity, and affluence. Lord Ganpati is the Lord of “Beginnings”. Ganesha is invoked for success in any endeavor.
Ganesha is also known as Ganapati, Vinayaka, Pillaiyar and Binayak. Lord Ganesha is one of the best-known and most worshiped deities in the Hindu pantheon. Ganesha is Vighneshvara or Vighnaraja or Vighnaharta, the Lord of Obstacles, both of a material and spiritual order.
Ganesh is the Vighnaharta and he also places obstacles in the path of those who need to be checked. Mahalakshmi is the Hindu Goddess of wealth, prosperity, and fortune. She is said to bring good luck in life.

गणेश लक्ष्मी स्तोत्रम्
ॐ नमो विघ्नराजाय सर्वसौख्यप्रदायिने ।
दुष्टारिष्ट विनाशाय पराय परमात्मने ।।
'Om namō vighnarājāya sarvasaukhyapradāyinē.
Duṣṭāriṣṭa vināśāya parāya paramātmanē..
Om salutations to the king for avoiding impediments,
Oh Lord grants us all types of pleasures,
You are the one who destroys evil people and wants,
You are divine as well as a divine soul.
लम्बोदरं महावीर्यं नागयज्ञोपशोभितं ।
अर्धचन्द्रधरं देवं विघ्नव्यूहः विनाशनम् ।।
Lambōdaraṁ mahāvīryaṁ nāgayajñōpaśōbhitaṁ.
Ardhacandradharaṁ dēvaṁ vighnavyūhaḥ vināśanam..
Oh god with a big paunch who is greatly valorous,
Who wears serpent as sacred thread,
Who is the God who carries the half-moon,
And one who destroys a battle formation of impediments.
ॐ ह्रां ह्रीं ह्रूं ह्रैं ह्रौं ह्रः हेरम्बाय नमो नमः।
सर्वसिद्धिप्रदोऽसि त्वं सिद्धिबुद्धि प्रदोभवः।।

चिन्तितार्थ प्रदस्त्वं हि सततं हि मोदकप्रियः।

Sindūrāruṇa vastrēśca pūjitō varadāyakaḥ..
You are one who grants wealth we thought off,

इदं गणपतिम स्तोत्रम् यः पठेद् भक्तिमानः नरः।
तस्य देहं च् गेहं च् स्वयम् लक्ष्मीर्न: मुञ्चति:।।
Idaṁ gaṇapatima stōtram yaḥ paṭhēd bhaktimānaḥ naraḥ.
Tasya dēhaṁ c gēhaṁ c svayam lakṣmīrna: Muñcati:.

गणपति वंदना
गाइए गणपति जगवंदन। संकर सुवन भवानी नंदन ॥
सिद्धिसदन गजवदन विनायक।
कृपा सिन्धु सुन्दर सब लायक ॥
मोदक प्रिय मुद मंगल-दाता ।
विद्यावारिधि बुद्धि विधाता ॥ मांगत तुलसीदास कर जोरे |
बसहि रामसिय मानस मोरे।
विशेषः लक्ष्मी की प्राप्ति के लिए 'ॐ नमो विघ्नराजाय...' स्तोत्र का विधिपूर्वक जाप भाद्रमास के कृष्ण पक्ष की चतुर्थी (संकट चतुर्थी) से शुरू किया जाना चाहिए और एक वर्ष तक का संकल्प लेकर करते रहें। इस साधना हेतु रक्तचंदन की अंगूठे के नाप की प्रतिमा या यंत्र की विधिपूर्वक प्रतिष्ठा करें या ब्राह्मण से कराएं।
साधक पूर्वाभिमुखी होकर बैठें व प्रतिमा की षोडशोपचार या पंचोपचार पूजा करें। नैवेद्य के रूप में बेसन या खोए के चार लड्डू रखें। पूजनोपरांत तुलसीदास रचित गणपति वंदना का 108 बार पाठ करें।
फिर बच्चों को प्रसाद वितरण कर स्वयं ग्रहण करें। इसके बाद आरती कर विसर्जन करें। यही प्रक्रिया अगली भाद्रपद की तीज तक करते रहें।
चतुर्थी तिथि को समापन कर ब्राह्मणों को भोजन कराकर दक्षिणा दें। साधना काल में ब्रह्मचर्य का पालन करें।
