The name Lakshmi-Narayana is jointly taken as a couple for the Hindu god, Vishnu or Narayana, and his consort Bhagwati Lakshmi. They reside in Vaikuntha. Whenever He takes an avatar, Goddess Laxmi follows Him. She is the Goddess of wealth, prosperity, and abundance both materialistic and spiritual.
Lord Vishnu is the protector, orchestrator, and sustainer of every life form in this infinite universe. Vishnu is known as "The Preserver" within the Trimurti, the triple deity of supreme divinity that includes Brahma and Shiva.
In the Vaishnavism tradition, Vishnu is the ultimate being who creates, protects, and transforms the universe.
Mahalakshmi is the Hindu Goddess of finances, prosperity, and fortune. She is said to fetch good luck in life. Goddess Laxmi is one of the most worshiped deities in the Hindu religion, believed to help in acquiring wealth, status, greatness, and fame.
