Chakshumati Puja is simply arranged for better eyesight and to remove diseases of the eyes. Chakshu in Sanskrit means 'Eyes' whereas Upanishad means 'Study'. Chakshu Upanishad Mantra is simply the Mantra for eyes and eyesight.
